David Sergison (b 1995) is footballer who played for Beercelona between 2015-2016 and remains their director of marketing and communications. He is presently the only player to have scored four goals in a single game for the club. A fast player with quick feet Sergison was routinely deployed at the business end of the pitch were he excelled as both a goalscorer and a creator for others, particularly Ryan Buczman with whom he forged a dynamic partnership. Sergison is a member of the Class of 2015 and is the first scouser to make the Beercelona Hall of Fame.
Sergison was signed for Beercelona from the Epcot Rose and Crown Academy in the teams first season in 2015. He played his first game of that season against Sangre Azteca as a second striker behind Ryan Buczman.
He had to wait until the end of January in his second season for his first goal, a sweet right-footed strike in a 5-3 loss to Azteca. He did, however, lead the team in assists for that season, creating nearly 1/3 of all team goals scored.
The departure of Buczman in the third season saw Sergison pushed into his favored central striker role where he really shone. He bagged four in his first game of that season before adding another in the next game. Sadly his contract was up before the season played out but he still managed to take home the Top Goalscorer award. He played his last game against Tigre's on April 13th 2016.
Post Playing Career
Since departing Central Florida Sergison has remained active behind the scenes of Beercelona, co-running the website and spearheading numerous visual media initiatives. He is also the director of a forthcoming, as yet untitled, Beercelona documentary, scheduled for release towards the end of 2017.
Sergison is a supporter of Liverpool FC. He and his partner Katie have expressed an interest in returning to Central Florida which has led to constant rumors of Sergison pulling on the Green and Gold Jersey once more.
